Mano Rast Lube

I went to Manor Fast Lube for an oil change, air filter and inspection. They told me that my inspection wasn't due for a couple of months (it was my registration) and that my air filter was still good for a couple more oil changes. I have never had a shop talk me out of work! And, I was out the door in 11 minutes, including paying! Check them out.

I don't live in Manor but I try to get my oil changed there every chance I can. I was there last year sometime visiting family and shot in there to get my oil changed. The service lady (wow! how cool is that?) saw my yellow ribbon and inquired about it. I told her my husband had recently retired from the US Army. Great service, great attitude, great prices, and they give us a military discount. Recently they even cut their prices if you use there in house oil. Ever since day one, I try to plan my oil changes around when I will be near Manor again. These bad reviews on the page baffle me. Must have been one-offs in my book.

The first time I went to Manor Lube was for a routine tune up. It took them 4.5 hours for a tune up and an oil change. When I drove off, my gas peddle did not work. They apologized and fixed it. The 2nd time I came in for an oil change and the kid did not tighten my oil filter enough and my car leaked oil the entire weekend. I took back up there and he apologized, fixed it and added more oil. They were willing to admit the mistakes and had no problem fixing them but the hassle of it not done right the first time, I can not get passed.

I always take my car to the dealer but the one time I took my car to Manor Fast Lube to help support local business they stripped out my oil pan and now it's going to cost me about $500 to replace at the dealership. Do yourself a favor and do not support this business if they can’t do a simple oil change.

I went to Manor Fast Lube for the first (and last) time today. I went in to get a state inspection, and boy was I glad that I was not getting an oil change.

After waiting over an hour (when I was told that I would taken care of in a half hour) I hear one technician say to another "hey, did you put oil in that car?" Shortly thereafter I saw the technicians pushing a car into the bay. I then heard the customer curse numerous times after hearing his engine was seized up.

There were frantic calls to the owner and shortly thereafter the customer got a ride home. The customer is presumably getting a new engine courtesy of Manor Fast Lube.

I always change oil on my own, for this very reason. What a nightmare!

I after an hour and a half I paid for my inspection and left (an hour later than I was promised).

Needless to say I will not be visiting this location again.especially not for an oil change!
